Manu Biosphere Project Part 1.A – Making fresh water for the village of Huacaria in Southeast Peru. This region is the Manu Rainforest region. Slow sand filtration systems provide eco friendly ways to provide clean water to the villagers. Previously there was a high rate of diarrhea, dysentery and death in children.
