Today I will talk about one of the world’s leading countries that achieved success in so many fields. In spit the fact of being an island, Great Britain has a made huge achievement and significant attribute in the globe.

Great Britain, That European country, which is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, the North Sea, the English Channel and the Irish Sea, includes four countries: England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. The English territories cover approximately 245,000 square kilometers and it has three main rivers flow through its land. Humber, Severn and The River Thames, which is the best known river in England, crosses London the capital and other nearby towns and cities.

In terms of the political system that England applies, monarchy is the county’s common system of leadership. Since the Queen Elizabeth is the constitutional monarchy, England will be ruled by her family from generation to another.

According to the last census that was conducted in UK, the total population was approximately 59,000,000. However, the population in London only was London 8.5 millions. This means that 15% of the entire population is located in London the capital. The main language in England is English, obviously, although there are many languages that are spoken there by numbers groups, as well. As for the religion that most likely to be found in UK, Christianity is the most common religion among the public. Still, there are many religions like Islam and Judaism that can be found in England because of the immigration that has the upper hand in the increasing of the population and the multiplicity of religions, languages.

Because of the presence of the famous land mark in London, Great Britain is considered as the perfect destination for holydays. Beg Ben, The most famous tower that stands in London is being recognized as the world’s biggest clock. Also, Bridge Tower of London the first bridge built in the city over the River Thames. And last but not least, the Westminster Abbey where the tombs of the kings of the kingdom are.

As one of the leading country in the world, UK should have a massive economic system. UK Today is the sixth largest economy in the world and the third largest in Europe after Germany and France. The British economy now is made up of the economies of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. However each country has a separate economic system on its own.

To sum up, going through the special qualities that Britain possesses we come to see an outstanding country character. What UK it is now, is a result of the ability to interact and trade experiences with other cultures.

The presence of famous land marks such as Big Ben in London is one of the reasons why so many people visit the country and why it’s a popular destination for holidays. Throughout the countries are also plenty of examples of outstanding natural beauty such as Loch Lomond in Scotland. Wales also boasts Pembrokeshire coast, and Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland is considered a natural wonder.

To sum up, going through the special qualities that the UK possesses we come to see an outstanding character. What the United Kingdom is now, is a result of the ability to interact and trade experiences with other cultures.
