I cant beleieve my eyes on some of the answers Im reading in this forum on how people believe that giving a neurotoxin to an infant is good for them. Other than producing enamel to your teeth it has NO OTHER medical advantage whatsoever!! As a matter of fact the EPA (enviromental protecction agency) sates that it is illegal to dump flouride in the streams and rivers but its ok to dump it into our water system? Do you know what the long side effects are? In fact, there is some interesting research going way back about fluoride being used on wartime prisoners as a truth serum in an effort to get them to go along with the capturing nation’s propaganda.

I think it was yesterday when lots of people were claiming that it is better to give a baby tap water mixed with formula than distilled water, because tap water has "vitamins, minerals and fluoride"…they give that to a baby whose poor liver and kidney’s cannot process out all those minerals, rust and toxins that have a nominal effect on adults.
Many people in this world are just mind-numbingly dumb, and there’s nothing we can do about it. They’re going to hurt their kids even with the best information, because they’re stubborn and dumb.
I’m sad that our water system doesn’t have Fluoride.. so instead I get fluoride drops from my pediatrician for my daughter.
Read the other half before you judge people.. you are the blind one.

Fluoride is dangerous! It should not be ingested (that’s why the back of your toothpaste tube says call poison control) Children who are young and still prone to swallowing toothpaste should be given toothpaste without fluoride in it.

Because if it isn’t one thing, it’s another, and people in general want to somehow enjoy their lives, not spend all their time fighting a corrupt system. Which, ironically, is how the system became corrupted. Now we’re mired in one old provably malignant practice after another and the only things people can think of to ‘do’ about it are: "Let’s find someone who’ll take care of everything for us.", "I have too many other problems to deal with, so piss off!! (which is where I am)", "But no one else will help me snipe and/or bomb these assholes. (quite a sane alibi, actually)", and things like, "Hey, I’m looking out for myself first –I’d rather take advantage of the problems for my own fulfillment!"
And I’m still wondering what the real solution is. Maybe Zen Budhism and good dose of enlightenment would solve it.

I would be interested to know what are the side effects of this? Is this a new thing, when did they start adding the flouride? I haven’t seen anything bad as to side effects of our tap water…so, out of curiosity (because I really don’t know) what is the problem with this?

When my daughter was on formula I got the infant/toddler bottled water that had fluoride in it but the amount was small not enough to harm and my daughter is doing great and has great looking teeth coming through : ) My daughters pediatrician would have gave me Fluoride drops if I didn’t mix her formula with that water that included the recommend dosage so I have no clue why its deemed so harmful if a Pediatrician will place an infant on it .

Fluoride is a protoplasmic mutagenic poison and an enzyme poison in the same class as cyanide, oxalate or azide, which means that it is capable of a very wide variety of harmful effects, even at low doses. The American Clinical Toxicology of Commercial products (5th edition) rates fluoride only slightly less toxic than lead !!
There is little margin before serious effects occur and the human body does not require this type of fluoride for any normal biochemical process.
Adverse effects are documented on kidneys, the immune system, bone, brain, pineal gland, thyroid, reproductive system and gastrointestinal tract.
7 Countries have reversed fluoridization as a result of studies done ……. unfortunately, Australia isn’t one of them.

I agree with you ……. makes no sense to me whatsoever to have this rubbish in our water……. it’s even been shown in scientific studies to actually cause dental caries !!
