Scientific Verification of Vedic Knowledge in Hinduism – 1

A vast number of statements and materials presented in the ancient Vedic literatures can be shown to agree with modern scientific findings and they also reveal a highly developed scientific content in these literatures. The great cultural wealth of this knowledge is highly relevant in the modern world. Techniques used to show this agreement include:

Marine Archaeology of underwater sites (such as Dvaraka)
Satellite imagery of the Indus-Sarasvata River system
Carbon and Thermoluminiscence Dating of archaeological artifacts
Scientific Verification of Scriptural statements
Linguistic analysis of scripts found on archaeological artifacts
A Study of cultural continuity in all these categories.

    And it proves what …
And it proves what Christianity is now doesn’t it that this knowledge is being allowed? UK was undergoing imperialism at the time of coming to India- but lots of respect for allowing the truth to come out with all the scientific and archaelogical data :) pi, 0, formal numerical system, first University in India, trigonometry and geometry being pure Sanskrit words whole alphabet vowels consonants even grammatical structure used today created Indo-European branch- so respect for not suppressing

  6. youejtube says:

    diliprai – you’re …
diliprai – you’re missing the point if you think Vedic or Hindu Gods are nothing more than tribal dieties. Siva is the symbolic representation of consciousness; Shakti is the symbol of energy. The marriage of Siva & Shakti is not about a God & Goddess, or even male & female, it is about the unity of consciousness and energy which manifests as living beings. Yoga is a science – a very specific & definite science of the universe & its reflection/manifestation in the form of the human being.

  7. BunnyBambiBambi says:

    The earliest known …
The earliest known inscriptions in Latin date from the 6th century BC and were written in various versions of the Greek alphabet, which was brought to to Italy by Greek colonists.

Sanskrit is the mother of Indo European languages, not Latin – & you cannot find Sumerian literatues online, only Bhagavad Gita, Mahabharata, Rig Veda, Type Tamil Sanskrit link into Google Sanskrit is Tamil Script, to quote Mark Twain “India is the mother of language, tradition, the sciences” not North India only!

  8. satchitananda24 says:

    Why are they making …
Why are they making a big deal about vedas? Aren’t they just mantras, hymns, and poems?

The intriguing scriptures of sanantana dharma are Upanishads. They are the most impressive.

  9. Saraswathiputra says:

    This is most …
This is most ridiculous without movement of people how language reach other places because language spoken by human being only not animals to spread.
The reality is Aryans people migrated from ancient India to other places.Rigveda gives clear details on this. But western egoists twist all the things believing they can make people fool for long time.

  10. SMR0000 says:

    There was no Aryan …
There was no Aryan invasion but the language Sanskrit is still related to western languages and is in the Indo-European language family. That doesn’t mean that they’re the same race, though. Language and race are not related at all.

  11. Saraswathiputra says:

    Gods in Hinduism …
Gods in Hinduism created with definite cosmic meaning.Simply branding it tribal or otherwise only show the foolishness of concerned.

  12. diliprai says:

    Hinduism is the …
Hinduism is the derivation of the tribal GODs, GODDESS, rituals and practices.
Siva for instance is a GOD of KIRATAS.
Kiratas is one of the ancient tribes living in indian-subcontinent before the advent of Aryans.
You can even find this in Vedas, which Siva takes the form as Kirati to test Arjuna.

Today Kiratas are distributed in the Indian region and Nepal.
Om Namah Paruhang Siva Mahadev, Kirateshwar, Lord of Kiratas.
    May you protect Kiratas.

  14. lsjtifo says:

    So, why should we …
So, why should we think physics is the end of the world of knowledge. Why get superstittious to think that we shd. study only science, and not extend our study to what comes down through hoary times, by generational reverence for that ancient knowledge.

  15. kakudmi says:

That is due to the …
That is due to the fact that modern scientists are not willing to test Vedic claims for they deny the existence of consciousness by excluding it from the process of experimentation. If the claim involves the individual consciousness, they immediately back off. That is not science, that is closed-mindedness and exclusiveness. That is like accepting the Bible to be an absolute word of God without even being able to prove anything. Modern science is riddled with blind faith.

  16. KarameloKaramelo says:

    hinduism exists …
hinduism exists more than 90.000 years cause of a fact of a solar constilation that can only be seen that back then.

  17. srividya101 says:

    This verification …
This verification is waste of time. Vedic religion and facts comes up when science cant go beyond a point. It is Metaphysics than physics.

  18. Saraswathiputra says:

    We see Hindus time …
    We see Hindus time concepts

  19. guptautsav says:

    “Some post-Vedic …
“Some post-Vedic texts, including the Mahabharata, the Natyasastra and certain Puranas, refer to themselves as the “fifth Veda”.[60] The earliest reference to such a “fifth Veda” is found in the Chandogya Upanishad. “Dravida Veda” is a term for canonical Tamil Bhakti texts” – Vedas & Sanskrit were dominant (of Vedic ceremonies & rites) &still in South India- Vedic culture reigns there! To this day! Since Maharbharata & Sanatana Dharma were born & the 5 VEDAS!

  23. vjpillay says:
