Though I was raised …
Though I was raised as a Christian, we also had the Bhagavad Gita on the bookshelf next to the Bible. My mom practiced and taught yoga (she was born and raised in Germany during WWII), and both of my parents said that it was up to us which religious path we chose. So I was lucky to be raised to see life from different viewpoints. I’ve always felt a connection with India. As a kid, I used to even try to copy the Sanskrit script of the Bhagavad Gita.
