what are the different impacts of human activity in market economies on the river systems???

This is about how the rivers of civilisation are effected by the market economies..please help…and 10 pointts for best answer!!!!
please give me some guidance and any websites that would be helpful..thanx..xxxxx

There is pollution which is bad, damming for electricity which is a major problem. Water diversion, which can be problematic. Also Global Warming which can cause rising Sea Levels which move Salt Water further Upstream and can harm local wildlife.

Those are just a couple. Also these are not mutually exclusive to market economies, but they are encouraged in some ways.
