What are the regions major river systems in russia and the near abroad?


Notable rivers of Russia in Europe are the Volga, Don, Kama, Oka and the Northern Dvina, while several other rivers originate in Russia but flow into other countries, such as the Dniepr and the Western Dvina.

In Asia, important rivers are the Ob, Irtysh, Yenisey, Angara River, Lena, Amur, Yana, Indigirka and Kolyma.

    Well one major river system I can think of is that over the Volga, oh yeah and there’s the Don river system too.
    The near-abroard refers to Russia’s supposed "Sphere of Influence", which means it is basically the boss of its "near abroad" which is Eastern Europe and Central Asia, that is why you see Russia bossing about the countries of Eastern Europe and acting like it owns them.
